Quotations
Quotations are valid for thirty days unless stated otherwise, and are based on the specification described in them. Lumber markets move; if a quote lapses we will re-issue rather than quietly re-price an accepted one.
Grade and specification
The grade stated on the quotation and the delivery paperwork is the contractual specification. Combo and mixed-grade loads are supplied to the ratio agreed in writing before shipping. Recycled platforms carry a dimensional tolerance of approximately half an inch on nominal footprint unless a tighter tolerance is specified and priced.
If a load is wrong
Photograph it, email it within five business days of delivery, and we will collect and replace the affected units at our cost. We do not require you to return goods before we act on a clear photograph. This is the clause we are most proud of and the one we have least often needed.
Delivery, title and risk
Delivery dates are commitments where we are using our own fleet and estimates where a common carrier is involved; we will always tell you which applies. Title passes on payment in full. Risk passes on delivery to your nominated site.
Treatment and export compliance
Heat treatment is performed to ISPM-15 requirements and marked and logged accordingly. The mark is void if the platform is subsequently repaired or modified with untreated wood by any party, including you. We cannot accept liability for a shipment held because treated packaging was repaired, supplemented or substituted after it left our yard.
Purchase of your surplus
Where we buy platforms from you, grading and counting is performed at our yard on our certified scale and the resulting count sheet is the basis of payment. You receive the count sheet itself, not a summary. If you dispute it, tell us and we will re-count before the stock is processed.
Payment
Net 30 on approved account, otherwise payment before release. Rebates for recovered material are credited monthly and may be netted against supply invoices by agreement.
