What we collect
Only what you type into a form on this site: your name, email address, telephone number, company, city, state, postal code, the quantity and product type you are asking about, the service you selected, grade preference, your message, and the address of the page the form was submitted from.
We do not run advertising trackers, we do not operate a cookie consent banner because we do not set marketing cookies, and we do not build behavioural profiles. The site works with JavaScript disabled, which is a reasonable proxy for how little client-side machinery it contains.
Why we collect it
To answer your enquiry and, if it becomes a commercial relationship, to quote, schedule and invoice. That is the entire purpose. Our lawful basis is the performance of a contract or our legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry you initiated.
Who it is shared with
Form submissions are processed through a third-party lead capture service acting as our processor, which stores the submission so our team can act on it. We do not sell, rent or share your details with anyone else for marketing purposes. If a quote requires a haulage partner outside our own fleet, we share only the delivery details needed to move the freight.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become business are deleted within 24 months. Customer records are kept for seven years for tax and warranty reasons. Weight tickets and treatment batch records are kept indefinitely because they are compliance documents.
Your rights
Email hello@pallets-recycle.com and ask for a copy of what we hold, a correction, or deletion. We will do it within thirty days and we will not make you fill in a form to ask. Virginia residents have specific rights under the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act; we apply the same process to everyone regardless of where you are.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS with a restrictive content security policy. Credentials for the lead service are held as server-side environment variables and are never exposed to your browser — there are no public client-side keys in this application at all.
