Ask in the message field. Technical questions go straight to the graders.
Do you have a minimum order?
For recycled stock in our standard footprints, a quarter trailer — around 130 units. For custom builds we will quote runs as small as 25. There is no minimum at all if you are selling pallets to us.
How do you price a load of my surplus pallets?
Per unit, by grade and footprint, with a separate line for non-salvageable cores hauled for recycling. We grade on arrival, send you the count sheet, and pay against it. No tonnage guesswork.
What area do you serve?
Our own fleet covers Virginia, Maryland, DC, North Carolina, Delaware and eastern West Virginia from the Richmond yard. Beyond that we quote common carrier or arrange a backhaul.
Can a recycled pallet be export compliant?
Yes. A recycled platform can be heat treated and ISPM-15 stamped exactly like a new one, provided every component is debarked and the repair boards are treated too. We treat and stamp in house.
What is the difference between a pallet and a skid?
A skid has no bottom deck — just top boards on runners. It is lighter, cheaper and stacks compactly empty, but it carries less and slides rather than rolls. Good for return logistics and static storage.
Do you take plastic or metal pallets?
We will haul them as part of a mixed clean-out and route them to the right recycler, but wood is what we remanufacture. We will not pretend otherwise.
Can you build to our engineering drawing?
Yes, and we would rather you sent one. Give us footprint, deck configuration, lumber species, moisture requirement and load profile, and we will come back with a cut list and a unit price.
How fast can you pick up?
Inside our fleet radius, typically same week, often within 48 hours for a full trailer. Steady-volume customers get a drop trailer so pickup becomes a swap.
What happens to a pallet you cannot repair?
It is dismantled. Boards long enough to reuse go to the repair line, metal goes to a scrap recycler, and the rest is ground into mulch, animal bedding or biomass. Nothing from our yard goes to landfill.
Is your mulch safe for vegetable gardens?
Our natural double-ground mulch comes from untreated pallet wood and is widely used in landscaping. For food gardens we recommend our untreated-only line and are happy to document the feedstock.
Do you offer a buyback on pallets you sold us?
Yes — that is the recycling programme. We supply, you use, we recover, and the recovered value is credited against your next release.
Why is there no phone number on this site?
Because we are a yard crew, not a call centre, and a phone ringing in a building full of forklifts gets ignored. Email and the forms on this site reach a named human, and we answer within one business day.

OpenOn the missing phone numberIt comes up often enough that it is in the list above. The short version: a phone in a yard full of forklifts gets ignored, and an answering service that cannot grade a pallet is worse than no phone at all. Email reaches a named human and is answered within one business day.
